Hi - has anyone heard of this cream being used in NZ? Or even used it? Its available overseas including in Oz, and it can apparently be quite effective in getting rid of VIN...

Hi Krista

This info may come a bit late but on the offchance you'd still like some info on Aldara cream ... it is licensed in NZ to treat some skin cancers and genital warts, but has also been shown in a number of clinical trials to be safe and effective for VIN.

It's not presently licensed in NZ for use in patients with VIN but might be used 'off-label' (i.e. there's evidence that it works for VIN but it's not officially approved by Medsafe for this purpose yet).
