Hi

Just after my operation a support lady came to visit me in hospital and advised that i would need to wear ?compression stockings? if i flew, I'm going to Aussie in a couple months so im looking into it further...

I can't be looking at the right places on the internet(!) so if anyone could please advise me more on these & where i could buy some (BOP Waikato area)  I'd really appreciate it.

I'm also wondering if the compression tights etc that sports players where would be adequate enough???

Thank you. & warmest wishes to you all.

L.

:-)

Hi see you have not had a response - your local pharmacy should help you - I have an amazing friend here in Christchurch that sells these - (he is a Pharmacist) and was also put in these after my operation as I have suffered from swollen legs etc post operative and removal of the tumour.

SO hope you found these and asked around.  They need to be measured and fitted properly

I had physio on leg and measured for compression stocking...supplied by the hospital.  Checked each year to ensure that still the correct size.     Shouldn't be hit and miss!!
