Got home from Hosp on saturday had laproscopic hysterictomey on Wedensday 28th october 2009 knew I had enlarged uterus and thyrbroid growths in it, did not know that outside the uterus area I had endo

My doctor told me we fixed you up you will be ok my mind was still spinning from being told I had something I didnt know I had

I asked how could no one know  I had this (doctors)

answer it cant be seen in scans and xrays because it is dark choc towards black in colour my doctor only found it because he was using a camera and did not see it untill uterus was removed .Also because it was outside the uterus smears did not pick it up

My mum said it used to be called the black death has any one else herd of this term

My doctor that I had for the op is the best in NZ in my eyes that is just my personal satement I will look up our professionals on the net one day soon as part of this journey I am embarking on

I have been having period issues for at least 5 years and in that time probably seen at least if not more than 10 doctors I am going to get a copy of my medical records and really look at how this is happening to me and other women out there.

Is this as common as it feels that the detection is not happening
