I check this forum from time to time and haven't heard much from anyone lately. Hope you are all still 'beating the odds' and enjoying life as much as possible. Jools, are you okay?
My CA125 markers are doubling again so once more (3rd time) this cancer has returned. Not sure what's happening, they haven't located the tumour as yet but go for another scan next week and they mentioned giving me more chemo or perhaps putting me on a trial drug. I should have asked more questions, but will do so at my next oncology appointment. Would like to know how many times you can have a recurrence before you get to the stage where they run out of options. The worst part is that apart from feeling a bit tired, I have been feeling the best I have been for a long time so it is really hard to get your head around the fact that you have cancer.
Would love to hear back from everyone. Also have just changed my signature - I used to be known as Janzy but that seems silly so now I am using my proper name.

Hey there....
~ next check~up for me is a couple of weeks away, and it's hard to believe, in many ways, now.... that it could be the one to throw my life into turmoil again, after two years of CA125 reading the huge big number of "three"! As time in remission has gone on, one feels life is returning to some kind of "normalcy", albeit the threat *is* always there.
Anyhoooooo... best of luck with the next round.

Hi Jools - great to hear from you. Do hope your check-up gives you another great result. My CA125 readings have never gone down to 3 - wish they would! Never got back down under 20 after the last op and chemo so really haven't been in remission for the last 24 months.
Hope you've been doing lots of fun things. I've been doing so much and enjoying life that I really haven't got the time for all these hospital visits again lol
