Hi everyone.  I am the first to admit that since my chemo ended in January I have become the laziest overweight person, AGAIN!!!  I want to do our half marathon in October which I missed out on last year and am sooooooo slow at getting going.  I am having the craziest mind battle with food as well.  Have been on citalopram for hot flushes since March and even though it has given me the most amazing mood it boosts your appetite so I am constantly eating and picking and fighting with the thoughts in my mind not to do it.  It has been two sundays since my last walk which was an 8km of 70mins and today my husband and I went for 2hrs, 13km.  I feel so great after I get home as I realise how quickly I could get fit again, just need to shut these head whispers up.  I guess winter doesn't help but I promise you all I will try.  Will keep you in touch with how the training is going.  Have to do a night shift tonight so that should be interesting. Hope everyone is ok. Bye now. Chris.
